Jungian Psychoanalysis and Work with the Unconscious

Jungian Psychotherapy is particularly noted for it's work with not only the conscious life but the unconscious as well. This leads to a very unique development of the individual toward their own center of wholeness. The work includes dream study and a very human and personal relationship with the therapist. The Jungian approach is the Western ground that holds all of Cary's other work and teaching. The primary goal being an integrated and whole human being and a deep relationship to the Self. The journey is one that will allow for integration of the shadow and support the process of individuation and psychic wholeness.

Cary's counseling sessions are influenced by her practice of Jungian Psychoanalysis. Cary's work has evolved through her own personal process with Jungian Analyst and Pilates Elder Mary Bowen. Cary has been working as an Jungian analyst as the primary part of her practice at Haymarket Studio for several years. She has received very unique guidance from Mary due to their common practice and teaching of the Pilates Method. Mary has been Cary's primary advisor in her counseling practice and has deeply supported the integration of body and psyche in Cary's training.

Personal consultations are available with Cary at the Studio, by phone or Skype. Cary's professional and personal background in the areas of Pilates, Movement Therapy, Eastern Spiritual Practice, Jungian Psychoanalysis, Yoga, Ayurveda and Herbology have created a unique and integral opportunity to work with aspects of oneself that are not found in the conventional. She has become a valuable resource for many who are in need of guidance, support or assessment within any of these areas. She provides an original ground on which one can work with their personal growth and any aspect that is in need. Cary meets with many of the students at the center on an ongoing basis or as needed for personal guidance.
