Utpali Ayurved

Utpali Ayurved is Cary's line of Ayurvedic herbal supplements as well as the body of material that has emerged from her personal engagement and study of Ayurveda. Utpali bridges the ancient teachings of Ayurveda with the Western psyche and lifestyle. Cary spent nearly a decade studying, training, assisting and practicing in the Wise Earth Ayurveda tradition under the guidance of Swaminimayatitananda (Mother Maya Tiwari).

Cary also works closely with Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, M.D. of Ayurveda and founder of Chakrapani Ayurveda in Jaipur, India. In meeting Dr. Kotecha, Cary felt his gentle approach and style of practice was very much in harmony with her own practice of Ayurveda and in 2009 she invited him to the Studio. Since this time Cary and Dr. Kotecha have met twice yearly at Haymarket Studio to work together. Cary has a particular affinity with the Dravya Guna Vigyan Ayurvedic Pharmacopeia (Ayurveda's Herbal Pharmacopoeia) and uses these herbal remedies as a primary part of her treatment therapy.
